Hello everyone

I had a busy day at work.  I also went and got my hair done.

I think Saturday I have nothing going on...it will be a lay around and do nothing day!!!!

You know I might make a cake and practice decorating it.  I bought the stuff, I just have to learn how to use it.  That might be a good way to spend a Saturday

Well I gots to go...have a good evening

Just wondering, what is everyone up to? Jason, Sharon, Chris, Nancy, Dawn?

It is official, we go for training on Tuesday, and start at sites on Thursday. It will be good to be back at work.

We are going to a hockey game tomorrow night in Bloomington. The season opener.

I have a busy day today, lots of stuff to do, and lunch with friends. Nothing major, just little things that don't seem to get done. I am sure we all have days like that.

Hugs,

Lisa

I to am going for a revision. I am going to Dr John Linn at Evanston Hospital in Octiber 2nd. I drive up here from Florida. I haven't gained any of my weight back. My stomach has stretched. But my pitch hasn't.

My insurance is Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield and I don't think I need I need authorization. Mine is medically necessary cause there is mesh involved.

I think you will need to call Medicaid to see if they will cover a revision first.

Good Morning to all! I am 10 yrs post op and am going to look into a revision as I have gained almost all my weight back that I lost. For the last 5 yrs or so, when I eat, I am hungry within 20 minutes. And I always eat my protein first as to keep myself full. And I can eat wayyyyy more than your average bypass pt. Also, when I had my surgery, my beginning weight was 400.. I only lost 120lbs and it took me a longgg time to lose that, even with being active, exercising, eating right, etc.

What I am wondering, is I have illinois medicaid.. will they pay for a revision if the dr says I need to have one done? Im in the process of getting a referral from my PCP as thats where I was told to start. Anyone that has been through this, any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Happy Monday,

Heard on T.V. this morning, this has been the warmest September on record.

Met Monica and Scott for supper last night. They wanted to discuss some more info on the cruise in June. I am sure it will be a lot more questions before we go.

Hubert is working on the basement entrance today. It will be done shortly.

Have a great day,

Hugs,

Lisa

Lisa, No, but my husband's cousin Stanley Crenshaw lived there in the 60s. He was stationed at near by Scott Field air force base. My husband was also.  Norma

Norma, are you a relative of the Crenshaws that own a bar in Bellville, Illinois?

Crystal, I'm thinking about buying glasses like you do but I wonder about no line bifocals and the adjustments needed. Do you have any information about this? I'm in-active on this board but Dr Joyce did my lapband about the same as you got yours. I lost over 90lbs but have gained about 20, partially due to meds for fibro. being 73 years old and loving to eat.  Congrats on your marriage, and new home.

Hello everyone

I had my typical busy Friday.  Of course as soon as 4pm hit it rained like crazy.  I'm not kidding.  I stepped outside at 4:02 and the skies opened up.  I stopped at Chilis for dinner.  They have a good turkey burger.  But they screwed up and my online order wasn't received and I ended up having to sit there for a half hour while they made the food.  I got so annoyed because it happens every time I order something to go.  So I complained and I ended up with a free dessert.  LOL

Last night I did not sleep well at all.  I fell asleep in some weird position and my right fell asleep and when I woke up it was completely numb.  After that it was throbbing.  Then no matter what position I would try to sleep in my arm would hurt.  I couldn't get comfortable.  I think I got maybe 2 hours of sleep.  I guess it's Saturday if I wanted I could go back to sleep.  But at this point I am wide awake.

Today we are going to Greg's sister's birthday party.  Greg is making his guacamole.  He makes good guacamole.

I actually get my eye exam any where that has a deal going.  But I order my glasses on zennioptical.com.  I can get glasses for $20 a pair...that's including shipping.  It's so cheap I buy a pair for work, my purse, home...I have been buying from them for 3 years now.  Love them.  A lot of people say they don't like buying glasses without trying them on first but to that I say for this much...who cares.  Second....they have measurements of their glasses so I buy glasses that are close to the measurements of the ones I have already.  Knock on wood....I have yet to have a problem with them.

Well time to get on with things...enjoy your Saturday
